London, UK: Picking Up London Passes

December 21, 2015

When we touched down in London in the morning, it was 8 degrees out. Naturally, the first thing that I would do is to get myself a nice cup of coffee just so I would have something to fight the cold with. But this time, I tried the hot chocolate from Costa Coffee, which was sooo good, by the way. Now I understand why some people prefer Costa over Starbucks. Hihi, soz.

If you've read my Seoul travel posts, you might remember that I shared about how my family likes to travel by train abroad. And of course, that's exactly what we did here in London.

Now this is a regular bus and train pass for the 10 days that we'll be staying in the city. We originally wanted to get the Oyster Visitor Card (which is way cuter), but I don't know what happened. Huhuhu.

By the way, I've actually been vlogging every thing since we left Manila. And I know that I'm not very good at it (yet, hopefully), but I just really wanted to document the whole trip not only with pictures but with video clips as well. At the moment, my camera roll is like 80% videos and 20% pictures, but I'm not complaining though. Yay for 64gb storage!

After checking into the hotel, we headed to Leicester Square to buy our London Passes. If you're planning on visiting the city too, you might want to check this out. We seriously saved a lot of money, so I highly recommend it, hahaha.

Each London Pass comes with a guide book containing everything we need to know about the sites and places included in our package. There were about 60+ and we could visit them ALL for FREE. When we got back to the hotel, I immediately changed into my pajamas and browsed the booklet to learn more about the places we're planning to visit in the next couple of days. This helped a lot to organize our schedule so as not to waste time going from place to place randomly. If you wanna know more about London Passes, you can click here

This is it for now. I can't wait to officially begin our London Adventures. Keep an eye for more travel posts to come. Have a lovely day wherever you are, take care always, and love lots!
